»ichundich.« isn't intended to be an accurate interpretation of else lasker-schüler's last drama. it's rather meant to underline few certain aspects of her work respectively, which we felt play a central role in it: the quest for and finding of what's missing for fulfillment. all other aspects remain untouched.

there is exactly one copy of this cd: in spring 2002 we were contacted by the department of german language and literature studies at the university of düsseldorf, asking us to perform »ichundich.« as part of a course on the relation of music and literature. unfortunately, alex left the project right that time, so we couldn't accept the offer. instead, we sent this rehearsal recording to the institute.
